Getting started

Intro

Design with Arc UI System is possible via the Arc Figma library. This Figma library enables you to design BT branded web experiences using the BT Enterprise Digital Design Language 2021+. It attempts to make the design/dev handover seamless by keeping patterns as close as possible to Arc React.

Much like the Arc React library, Arc Figma is not intended to define all components and possible designs. Instead, it provides a series of fundamental tools to design and compose on-brand web experiences.

Arc Figma contains:

• Support for 2 colour pathways, light and dark
• Color Styles, including Design Language colour palettes and Arc-specific mappings
• Grid Styles for each supported breakpoint
• Components that match Arc React components as closely as possible
• Brand-approved icons

Requirements

• Figma
• An account in the BT Enterprise Figma organisation. Contact support.

Setup

Create a new Figma file, then enable the library named Arc UI System Library.

You should now be able to use Arc Figma styles and components.
